ABOUT THIS CONCERT
Step into a world of magic, myth, and imagination as the Brisbane Concert Orchestra presents Fairytales & Legends - an enchanting afternoon of symphonic storytelling.
Join us on Sunday 14 June at All Hallows’ School for a program filled with heroes, folklore, and fantastical worlds, featuring Saint-Saëns’ thrilling Danse Macabre, music from How To Train Your Dragon, and beloved excerpts from Peer Gynt, Swan Lake, and The Firebird.
This special concert also marks the return of Musical Director Matthew Schwarz following his sabbatical, leading the orchestra in a vibrant celebration of legendary tales brought to life through music.
From soaring adventure to haunting beauty, Fairytales & Legends promises an unforgettable journey for audiences of all ages.
