FAQs
What standard do I have to be to join the orchestra?
The general standard of our players is at least AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) Grade 7 or above. If you’re not sure whether our orchestra would be right for you, come along to a rehearsal or two and try it out.
Do I need to audition?
Brisbane Concert Orchestra does not hold formal auditions. Instead, we like potential members to come along to a rehearsal or two and play with the orchestra.
Where and when does the orchestra rehearse?
Rehearsals are held weekly from 7:30pm – 9:30pm on Wednesday nights, on Brisbane's south side. Please fill out an EOI to join us to learn more.
