ABOUT THIS CONCERT

Step into an evening of grandeur, romance, and celebration as the Brisbane Concert Orchestra presents its 60th Anniversary Gala - a momentous afternoon of symphonic splendour marking six decades of music-making in Brisbane.

Join us on Sunday 27th September at the Old Museum Building for a glittering programme that spans the great traditions of the concert hall and the stage, featuring Saint-Saëns' triumphant Organ Symphony, Mozart's beloved Clarinet Concerto, beloved melodies from Les Misérables, and iconic works from Phantom of the Opera, Édith Piaf, and beyond.

This landmark evening also welcomes Brisbane baritone Camilo Lopez to the stage, joining conductor Matthew Schwarz for a night where orchestral brilliance meets the power of the human voice.

From the pomp of Elgar to the passion of Offenbach, from timeless romance to thunderous celebration, the 60th Anniversary Gala promises an unforgettable night for all who have loved the Brisbane Concert Orchestra - and those discovering it for the very first time.
