Let the orchestra guide you on an adventure across the high seas and into the hidden depths of the ocean, with Elgar’s ‘Sea Pictures’ for Orchestra and Contralto, Rimsky-Korsakov’s ‘The Sea and Sinbad’s Ship’, Mendelssohn’s ‘Hebrides Overture’ and more.
 

Guiding us through the ‘Sea Pictures’ odyssey is the esteemed Jacob Cavanough, a conductor, percussionist and teacher with over 20 years of experience with orchestras across South-East Queensland.

We're delighted to be performing with vocalist Chloe Evans. Chloe is an Australian soprano celebrated for her radiant tone and expressive storytelling across concert and stage. Hailing from the Huon Valley in southern Tasmania, Chloe is now based in Brisbane where she works as a vocalist, conductor, and music educator, passionate about fostering vibrant musical communities and inspiring the next generation of singers. She appears regularly on stage and has performed with a range of ensembles in both concert and theatrical settings. Equally at home in classical and music theatre repertoire, Chloe is known for her ability to combine lyrical warmth with dramatic flair.
